My grandis palys have closed up for a reason I cannot discern. My other palys and zoas are doing fine. I have not added anything new in awhile either so I doubt pests are the issue. I lowered the light intensity suddenly and now they look shiny. Should I just wait this out?

@DSC reef is this true for all zoas? I am concerned that after changing my light today, my red hornets instantly closed up and have stayed sulking that way all day. xx

Yep,yep what was said above,,sometimes they do this to shed and plus sometimes you'll see new polyps forming after they open . take a turkey baster and blow some of the layer of wax film off them sometimes helps to speed up them opening. Do not be harsh with the turkey baster flow..
They will be fine ..
