Ok very newbie mistake.

And on to the common "WORRIED ABOUT PLAYTOXIN"

So i removed the large playgrandis from a nano some frags had algea on em so i just brushed it off, touch em a few times without gloves (stupid) i know i forgot.

Placed em in a tank rinsed my hands with just tap water and dryed em.

Later maybe an hour i ate some chips not thinking to wash my hands with soap. Could i of ingested it? Like transfered the tonix to the food i was eating? Is this an issue, and should i be worried for real? Im new to this and the Google searches really isnt producing and good information for me. I figured theres a really experienced group here that help guide me in the right direction.

Im sure this maybe be a crazy put there ordeal but idk if im experienceing Anxiety or something else.

Hi,

So, there are things in our tanks that can hurt us. Chances are you are ok. Use this as a take away to always use care in and around the tank. There are dangers all around. Most are small, but still there. A cut from a rock, sting from a bristle worm, chemical issues from all the items we use, electrical hazards, etc.

All these are around, but when carefull most are minimal. I would ask if your fingers were tingling or numb after handling the palys? If not and you washed your hands after handling and before eating you should be fine.

I hit em with just tap water. No soap or anything didnt know if that was going ti be good enough.

Maybe the symptoms i am having are just anxiety based i really dont know. Just looking for logic in it to see if my worries are warranted.

I can tell you this. All tanks have lots of bacteria. If you have a cut or abrasion on your hand and you put your hand in the tank there is a chance of bac infection. Afterwards wash your hands, don't touch your face ... I am dealing with it now. And for now wear a mask!!

if its been an hour and you have not died youre prob ok, but if you have anxiety you should make a salad with some devils lettuce instead of eating chips

Yeah,

It would of had to stay on my hands from a tap water rinse, then drying and later on transfer on to the food i was eating feom my hands.

Just being super cautious.
