PAN WORLD PUMP 50PX-X QUESTION

Hello fellow Aquarists, I'm new to this forum and need some advice on how to install the Pan World pump for my slat water station. I have 32 gal can 18" off the floor with 1" bulkhead with valve that will gravity feed water to the pump ( 50px-x), my question is...... can I install the pump vertical so there can be a straight drop to the intake port with no elbows involved?

I don’t see why not. MRC Kalk reactors mount the Pan World pumps vertically as you wish to do without issue.
