Red Sea came to The Critter to set that tank up back in 2012.
First S-650 on the east side of the country.

That reef was a master piece, but it had those wicked Plays in it... ;Yuck

Right before the led upgrade came out:
The Plays went off, and they smoked the entire reef...

I think someone messed up their bio-pellet reactor and it got the Play's into chemical warfare mode.

It was a total loss in under 48 hours...

I don't know if their Facebook page has old photo's of that reef?

Did you go over to the reptile side?

That is very unfortunate, it is a very nice tough I even checked the sump and they still run the C-Skim. The store has a large equipment and livestock variety, thank you for the recommendation. [emoji2]

Yes I did sneak into the reptile side but I am not so much into reptiles.

Yeah,
Since Red Sea gave them the tank, he has to run it like you'd buy.

That's why he still runs the C-Skim and took the led update.

When the tank crashed (plays), it broke his heart and he still does not like to talk about it.

This week the tank received 3 new fishes: 2 firefishes (2nd try) and one coral beauty, my original coral beauty jumped trough the Eihem Feeding Station and dried on the net cover.

I hope to have better luck with the firefishes, from the three I brought some months ago only one survived the female clown fish harassment and that is the reason why my clowns are in the LFS grounded to see if I can be successful this time.

I am afraid the coral beauty did not make it, the other 3 angels (flame and 2 pygmy) were bully him. I will leave the coral beauty idea for now.

The clowns will be re-inserted tomorrow, I hope they can get along with their old mates.

Hello Freddie, I got back yesterday to TN, big temp difference! Tokyo was warm between 65 and 70 the last two weeks.

The clown fishes are back in my DT after been grounded for 6 weeks to the LFS [emoji1787]....

I hope they will become better tank citizens this time. I will try to load a new video tonight.

Sorry I am one day late but I had to keep a promise to my son. The clownfishes are settling in without been jerks and the fire fishes are doing better, happy reef. [emoji41]

Unfortunately the re-introduction of my clown fishes was not completely good. The male has gone loss for two days, it means he is gone. The nitrites are super high it means something is dead...

Have you got full clean up crew as I would have thought they would get anything that’s dead before you would have an issue. And that’s a big water volume for a little fish to affect it ?

Yes, unfortunately I believe where the spike is coming from, both the Coral Beauty and the Clown passed in consecutive weeks and I have no hermit crabs, I removed them because they were killing the turbos. But the turbos cannot dispose a dead fish as the crabs so it was a bad move from me, in the past I had dead fishes and never had nitrites spikes and I think it is because I had hermits. I will have to re-introduce 5 hermits and do a large water change. Hopefully this will correct the parameters.
