With the vintage items reminded me of one of first aquarium books reading about Victorian salt tanks. There was one a hexagon I remembered but couldn’t find a pic of bug lagical here’s a slate bolltom brass that would is pretty amazing to look at and imagine in use back in the day.

That is looking good, perhaps for a new project.

Here are pics of the old typewriter after cleaning, oiling and polishing. I fixed all the keys, took out more dust and stuff I have seen in my life. I couldn’t take out a couple of scews so I couldn’t make thr carriage move with the keys and the space bar, otherwise everything works now.

This gives an idea of how much grease and dust cumulated over 50 years it was stored. The interior was... yucks!

My old man has always wanted to have one of this too, so my wife and I decided to give it to him

Update....

Two diamond gobies had been added (have made a great job against dinos), a melanarus wrasse to deal with pyramid snails, cleaner wrasse, florida ricordea and other frags.

From equipment stand point, my chiller is back and working, I added a 35 W UV filter and an auto feeder.

Finally I made another little project, a 1906 electric iron from a company called Doran Brothers. When I bought it everything was black including the wood. FE0EB7CD-546D-4F0F-92B2-4D172D3C7D1E.jpeg

Singer sewing machines are really nice, as you said we all may have seen our mothers or grandmas working on them.
