Panorama or panorama pro? Biocube 29

Need some help here guys and gals. Budgets kinda low on this one but I want to add an led strip to get some good growth/coror to the tank I want to keep the pcs and just grow some good ole softies.I'm worried about my nice awesome zoos losing their color...... Cany any one chime in how do the old panorama 8k/actinic look.? Any ideas are welcome.

1st of all what's your budget?

Since its a bio cube you could do a DIY LED setup because you won't need much LEDs.

If that's to much check out smaller kits for just softies 6 leds would b enough 12 for lps and 20 or so for sps should be good guidelines. Bill can chime in if I'm wrong

I like that kit ,but the downside is with that I think I'd have to a controller to have them work ? Or can I just plug them in with timer?

for a dimmable kit like this you could use a controller or you can use DIY 2 color dimming kit and a timer. but the drivers have to be hookd up to something that controlls the dim funtion like that kit i linked or a controller. if you went with a cheaper non dimmable kit then no just a timer would work.

Literally 2minutes before I ordered the panorama pro ..... But I'll post a review for everyone got the tank up and running everything looks good I'll post. Journal thread soon ...

I ordered just one to try and supplement the pc's if I like the out come I will probably slowly add more as the funds become available. I liked the idea of the 12 k temp vs. The 8k temp. Plus 3 strips with one controller and cutting the electric bill .......lets see what the coral says?

Good choice on color spectrum. The white is so intense it doesn't come off looking like it should. I have great color and growth with mine, although I have stunners to give me the bluer look.

Ok guys so I got pros last week and I modded the hood to fit it. All I have to say is wow!!! With just the panorama it is just as bright as the pcs ,with both it has the brightness of a metal halide and the shimmer as well, once I get things to settle down I'll post a pictures and such.
