I currently have a 4" panther grouper and I was wondering if a bluethroat trigger would be a suitable tankmate longterm, in that, in theory a max size panther grouper would not eat a max size bluethroat trigger. If they are compatible in the long run, how quickly do bluethroats grow and what size would you all say is the minimum for me to get so that the grouper wont end up outgrowing the trigger and eating it before it reaches max size? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
