I am planning on adding my first coral in a month or so. The tank is about 2 month old right now. I think I’ll add an acan which I will leave on the sandbed. I know that you should light acclimate your coral so they don’t bleach. I have Reefbreeder photons 16 inches of the water surface with the blues peaking at 50 and the whites at 20. I was wondering what is considered a good starting par for the acans? Since I’m putting them on the sand anyway I could just put them in without worrying about light acclimation right

Should be ok. If you are worried you can start it in a shaded area
