Yes.

Some sps do better at 200 , some do better at 400. I would rather have sps at 200 par with good flow than 400 par with little flow.

I really like the video of Jason Fox at his house talking about lighting for sps. He made a good point of alot of wild sps may only get a few hours of light a day if they are next to a mountain/cliff due to the sun getting behind it. He also made the point of alot of it grows with just blue light once the white gets filtered out due the depth of the coral. So makes me believe how important flow is.

The more you check all these stuff and more you tinker your tank the more you will kill your sps
