Par levels for ATI bulbs

Hey everyone, I have a small 25 gallon tank with alot of low light lps. Right now my light is producing maybe 50-75 par. I want to buy a 2 foot t5 fixture to put over the tank, but was wondering what the par each bulb produces is, so I could match the current par of my system. Thanks.
I don't know if you've already read through this but it might have helpful info.

Is there a reason you want to switch to T5 from the current LEDs? If you want to match the par of your current lighting, why not simply keep the lights? LEDs are great, especially if you like the blue effect.

my current leds are cheap (old nicrew) and I hear micromussa and other corals I love do well under t5s, plus I love the look, but I might not switch. Biggest issue for me is mounting

I wouldn’t believe that claim. Those corals can definitely thrive with LED light. There are a lot of fanatics that believe a coral can only thrive in certain lighting, but I haven’t seen evidence of that. Many people successfully use LEDs with those corals.

Corals predominantly use the blue spectrum, so it’s really hard to mess it up. :)

Ill stick with my leds for now and see how they do then

Do both! On my 70 frag tank and 180 display i run XR15/30’s and a 4 bulb t5 fixture.

2 ATI Coral Plus & 2 ATI Blue Plus.

I kinda feel like par from T5\halides are different than LED’s. They seem be a safer Par. Back in the day people were only worried about watts per gallon and heat generated by halides lol

LED burns happen, IMO, from sudden extreme par changes, especially from LEDs with hotspots. Think of someone taking a low-light-adjusted coral and cranking all the channels to 100% (Maxed out). T5 and Halides usually have a cap that can’t be exceeded, and you can find reports of users experiencing burns with those lighting, too.

Most users would have problems with LEDs if it were an “unsafe” par.

This user is carefully measuring his par with a meter, and he’s below the average range. I don’t believe this concern is warranted.

my tank crashed a few months ago, so besides my invincible corals i only have frags

This thread has been hilarious to try and read through.. I like that someone posted the par thread! Might have been said previously but blue+ alone has a spectrum fit for coral so blue+ and actinic would be fine if the appearance suites you.
The only #s I could give right now would be 8bulb with almost 50/50 blue+ and coral+.

Thread cleaned up. Please keep posts from getting personal. Thank you.

absolutely mogged
I'm old. Had to look up what mogged meant, lol! I can't keep up anymore! When I complained to my daughter that such and such word she was using was just made up (insinuating it was not valid) she reminded me that ALL words are made up (at one point or another)! She has a point......

LOL, just the other day someone said the same thing to me in r2r, I had to look it up
