I have been watching it for the past week, but every par meter gets snagged as soon as it is posted (I always miss it), or it is too expensive for my budget.

Not sure where you’re located, but it might be easier to go in with a fellow reefer and buy one off BRS and then return it. They used to do rentals but replaced it with this process. it’s $100 for a restocking fee so if you split it with a couple people it’s less than $50 per person.

Migro has one that plugs into your phone or it Bluetooth to. It was only available in Great Britain as of early 2021 I’d check to see if it’s “Jumped the Pond.”

Such is life. Be patient and 'johnny on the spot' when it's posted up for sale. Or drop the 200 bucks if you don't want to wait for a used one

Yeah it is, but it’s temporary. It would take a week to get here, use it for one night and ship it back, so should be back in your account by the end of the month.

True, wonder why the did away with the rental program? Probably same reason other places have done the same bad apples!!

I assume because people suck, and we’re either not returning them, or returning them damaged ha some people gotta ruin the good stuff for all of us.

YOu can just... not use BRS haha... rent from elsewhere

If you are looking for one to help set up your new reef tank, Aquarium Care Center in Ocean Township is a little over an hour north from you and rents them for i believe $35/24hours. That should get you started and this way you don't have to rush to buy one.

Also if you have local clubs, they sometimes have free par meter use. Sometimes LFS rent them for a small fee as well.
