Can I use this par meter for my new kessil light to figure out or will this one not work Im completely lost on this whole thing but did want to buy one

but here’s my two cents:

if the one you show has a water proof testing end- then should be ok. But some of these are designed for “dry” operation.

if your local to Los Angeles I’ll let you borrow my seneye?

You need one that’s designed to work underwater, can’t tell if the one you posted is or not. If you are buying a seney is pretty foolproof and also has a few other functions you may or may not use. Go for the rental from BRS if you are able, there are plenty of YouTube vids of people par testing their tanks. It’s pretty easy, just read the numbers. Big thing is not shading the sensor with your arm when taking the readings.
