Par meter help ?

So i rented mq 510 par meter, and i noticed that it doesnt have the option to select "sun" or electric mode. Im not sure if that matters or not but in BRS VIDEO it shows that u have to select that mode for corals testing. Im confused. BRS dont know anything about it i called.
