PAR meter rental...

There is a new $50 Ian par meter now available. I googled Usb par meter.

Google. First hit. Think it was dr fosters n smith. Easier than me doing it for ya.
Gonna post a thread later to get some reviews

I am curious as well. The only USB PAR meter I could find was BioTek's which sold for around $200. The fiberglass accessory wand sells for $50 alone. And this BioTek sensor is actually made by Apogee. Reef Builders gave it a very nice review HERE.

That's for the fiberglass wand only....not the sensor! The sensor is $200

This is what you get for $50:

200$ is really low for a good par meter and it's made by Apogee hehehe ... I would better use my hand and get one more frag at the place of the wand. :D

Back to the question in the OP; check with you LFS's. We have one here in NJ that rents an Apogee for $25....and you get to keep it for a week. Go in with a couple friends, and now it's only a couple bucks a piece. (If you're in NJ, the LFS that rents the meter is ACC in Ocean Township)
