Is a volt meter the same as a par meter or can it do the same thing as a par meter

...the simple (key word "simple") answer is NO, however the sensor on say a apogee PAR can be used with a fluke multi-meter if you have one but, you would need to multiply the reading by 5 to get the correct value.
