I am running a anemone system with leds
pacific suns lamps 18 inches above water tank water depth 17 inches
what is a good par number at bottom of tank

my nembers seem low 50 to 150
not much better at surface

Well, my fixture was 7 inches high and getting approx 100-150 at the sand bed, 200-300 over sps and it was still burning corals, soft corals stayed closed, and lps retracted. The light is just so concentrated, it's like a laser beam. I've got it now at probably 10 inches so we'll see how it goes.
