Par Values of individual bulbs

New to T5's and am interested in comparing individual PAR of different bulbs, like x bulbs is xx par in 1ft of water. It would be like buying light bulbs at the store that rate by lumens.

Say if a ATI Coral+ is 25 PAR compared to a Blue+ that might be 20 PAR.

Any chart or info like this exist?

PAR measurements will vary from meter to meter, distance from bulb, water clarity, water flow... PAR doesn't tell us anything in regards to light quality per say, like for example qualities of the spectrum. It's only part of the puzzle. If you still want to check the PAR for your tank I would suggest to get the T5 combo you like and check in your particular system. That would be the way to go.

I saw it a few days ago looking at par values for different ATI bulbs. I just did a google search, but don't remember which site it was on. I just know it wasn't from R2R. I think it was from 2010 or earlier.

Best thing to get out of it is the differences, which besides actinics, isn't a lot really.
Obviously height matters as does reflectors and ballasts.

Ok here us the catch . The "par" measured is not the "par" you are thinking about.
An integrating sphere doesn't measure ppfd (our "par").

Ppfd (our par) us like lux.
Lumens is like their par.
