I have a 30" display that is 16" high. My light is a Hamilton fixture 6x24. All bulbs are giessman or ati and only one is an atinic. I'm only hitting about 250 dead center in the tank (height, width, depth) does that sound right? It seems low to me, I originally had two actinic bulbs in and switched one for a blue plus but it didn't significantly increase the par (maybe 15) so I left the other in there.

make sure it is at 6 inches. those two inches make a difference. Take out that actinic bulb and add another b+ or coral +. You should have around 300-350 mid tank with the fixture at 6 inches above water level if you replace the actnic. If you need more par add a strip of leds and when you measure the par turn water flow off.
