Getting a par 38 bulbs for my 10g. (12”x12” top)
I have found two bulbs that might work and also very cheap.
They both have 12 leds and are 36watt.
One bulb has 4 cool whites, 4 blues and 4 purple/uv.
The other bulb has 8 cool whites and 4 blues.
Which of these do you think is the better? And is either of them enough to grow some lps and soft corals?

I go for the one with 4 Blues, 4 whites and purple.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the one i saved is sold out, I found another one which is par30, 9w with Blue:Cold White: Purple/UV as (3:3:3).

Do you think it’ll be strong/bright enough?

I still have the option with the blue+white bulb.
Goes upto 54W with 18 leds (12cw&6b)

The more full spectrum is way better, but it doesn’t state what nm range the diodes are. At least the blue white one does. Either one would be best for soft corals, not so much for LPS. Definitely not for SPS.

Okay thanks. I’ll keep searching then because i might just get an anemone along the way.
