Hi I wanted to practice my paragrpahs and essays on marine biology and thought maybe it was ok to do it here?

If so let me know?

I want to upgrade my english to maybe some day go to college or universty, but unfortunatley I only have a grade 10, can you fact check my paragraphs?

I do this for fun, but if I can get good at it, it may help me go back to school thanks.

If not ignore this, lol.

My first paragraphs are about photoplankton and copepods and on how they can benifit the home reef over dead food.

Live phytoplankton and copepods are more nutritious than other foods. Firstly, they are loaded with calories in the form of carbohydrate which then break down into glucose, and this glucose is an immediate source of energy for the nervous system and muscles. The marine organisms that eat phytoplankton and copepods include corals, sponges, fishes, chittons and worms. Secondly, they contain Vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and K, and minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and zinc. These micro nutrients help the immune system, support normal cell growth, cell division and restoration. Thirdly, they are high in proteins (as much as 60%) and amino acids which are the building blocks of marine animals' cells and tissues. Proteins and amino acids are mainly useful for the animals' movement and to build and repair tissues. Finally, they have essential fatty acids, EPA and DHA, in them which ensure diffusion of sufficient nutrients within the organism's structure. EPA and DHA have many biological benefits, most notably facilitating communication within the cells and between the cells. For these reasons, live phytoplankton and copepods are, by far, more nutritious than dead, frozen or dried artificial foods.

I am just quicky adding paragraphs that I will add to my essay any wrong facts or suggestions are helpful, thanks, Clint.

I thought that maybe my 12 plus years of biology may benefit other's. It is an accumulation of facts or my facts imo lol. based on my methods. And I would like to learn to express them. I am hoping if I express them here for several years then go to school for several years I may make a small living out of it, in some way shape or form.

Dr Blue,

I don't see anything wrong with your English, except maybe your not capitalizing the word English. Your grammar is more correct than that used by a lot of R2R users. If you're nervous about your grammar, you might want to consider using a programmatic grammar checker - Google's Chrome browser has several extensions available. And, you might want to consider practicing with citations (a.k.a. "footnotes") for your work. If you do move up to more advanced studies you'll need the skill. They also add credibility you any conclusions you put forth.
