ParaGuard or Prazipro used for eels and lion fish?

I am looking for a safe way to treat eels and lion fish with ick. Would ParaGuard or Prazipro work? I also have a dwarf angel, marine beta, blue spot puffer, Lyretail Hogfish and Saddleback Butterflyfish. I am going to be upgrading tanks withing the next month or so. I would like to get this treated before the upgrade as I think with the extra stress of the move would make it much worse. The tank is a fish only system so no real worry about inverts or coral. If there is something that I can use that would let me keep one or both down the road I would like to try that first though.

Paraguard isn't likely to eliminate ich - and Prazi-Pro, while excellent against flukes and "black ich" (a turbellarian worm), is useless against ich and velvet.

With lionfish and eels, you can try either Chloroquine Phosphate (CP) or Tank Transfer Method (TTM). There are caveats though ... CP is only available in the US by veterinary prescription, so you'll have to find a vet who's willing to write you a scrip. TTM treats _only_ ich, not velvet. (You can do a TTM protocol against velvet, but it would require a transfer every 24 hours, which adds up to a lot of effort!)

I have read that CP in not safe for wrasse. Have you fount that to be true. I forgot to mention that I have a Vrolik's Wrasse in the tank as well.

That does put a bit of a challenge on it ... CP's not recommended for wrasses at all. (I've never used CP, myself - brought all of my fish through chelated copper.)

You may find that you need to run two separate QTs for the duration of ich/velvet treatment.

So run the lions and eel with the CP and everything else through copper?

Probably best to use the CP on the puffer, as well.
