This is what the back looks like but I took out the skimmer because it was junk and the black spung thing and am running just poly filter on the top and that is itwhat kind of filtration do u have
I think ur levels are fineI don't think you should panick. I've had my nutrients get that high with no visible stress to my corals, sps included. Whatever u do don't do it fast. A few 20% wc's over the next week would get u back down to better levels
Okay thank you for the input and I was just seeing my number not being perfect I guess so kinda scared me and yeah my sps are not open so just a cuple water change over a few weeks will be good or just let it ride and thank youwhat is it that you need help with? i assume that youre mainly speaking of nitrate and/or phosphate? thats my guess. everything else seems to be in line, but at the same time, 30 isnt insane. your zoas and everything look happy, from what i can tell anyway. not sure how your sps are doing, but they would probably prefer less nitrate/phosphate if they arent open. if thats the case, something like rowa phos would help remove excess phosphates. however, if corals arent being affected, i wouldnt go chasing parameters
i dont see any crazy issues with parameters, so i dont know what youre looking for.
Perfect thank you amd hopefully I don't lose anymore coralthe two big ones that most people try to keep low (phosphate and nitrates) are significantly better. everything else is still fine
people keep saying this but then where do the dinos get their P.03 could be an actual 0 with the range of error in the hanna. 0 phosphates leads to dino's.
The dino's consume PO4 at a faster rate than everything else. What happens is when it bottoms out, that gives dinos a chance to take over by consuming a fraction of what the rest of the bacteria and organisms need. Thusly, you will get a dino explosion with almost negligible PO4 while everything else starves for it. They are simply consuming it all the moment it is created. You have to spike your PO4 and keep it elevated for a bit to allow your other algae/bacteria to populate and out compete them.people keep saying this but then where do the dinos get their P
