Not sure how long your tank has been up and running but contrary to popular belief you need to bump your nitrates up a tad or you will be risking starvation for your corals....

Its been up a month and I have 7 corals
1 zoa
1 acan
1stunner chalice
1 toadstool leather
1 galaxia
1 flavia
1 red cap montipora

Its seachem fusion 1 and used there calculator and recommended 24ml a day for how many gals I have and they recommend cal 380-420 alk 8-17?

Keep it at the lower end of that range, DKH of 7-8 is ideal, over 9 seems to just create more problems.

This is my magnesium.

So mag is good. Alk is super high. I run 10 and people tell me I'm high lol. But I run a little bit dirtier of a system with alot of fish. I run my nitrates at about 8 and my phosphates at .10 mag at 1400 calcium at 450.

It works in my system. But for a new system I'd stick to about 8dkh, 1300 mag, 380-400 calcium nitrates should be detectable, I'd say about 4-8 if you can, phosphates need to come down to between .04-.12 you'll have a better base line once everything is balanced.

I'm going to do a water change and see where everything is at after because I use instant ocean the purple bucket so I know it has less additives in it than instant ocean reef Crystal's so I'm sure I will need to dose a little.
