I have a 120 tank with 10 sps frags about 2 inches tall about 6 zoa frags and a 3 inch maxima clam. I have about 40 snails also. I run 8 bulb t5 tek with octo extreme 200 skimmer. My cal is 420 alk 9.50 and mag 1350. After 7 days i tested and everything was same. I did a 10 gallon water change and parameters were still same. Tested after 7 days and cal was 420 alk 9.50 and mag 1350. I use elos on cal and mag and lamotte on alk. I checked also with salifert on cal and mag and got same readings. Does this sound right or do i have about 6 bad test kits?

if they are only small frags they wont use much cal, and your substrate may be acting as a buffer, so to answer your question your test kits are prolly fine
