If you run higher alkalinity does your phosphate and nitrate gotta be lower or higher? And what would those target numbers gotta be in range of?

I would run higher nutrients if you keep Alkalinity higher. That way you have some buffer not to get burnt tips. I run Alk at 10 and nitrate at 10 ppm.

The only rule (and it's more a guideline) is if you're running very low nitrates/phosphates (ULNS) you need to run Alk at 8.0 or below to prevent burning SPS tips. Not aware of a high alk correlation to NO3/PO4 levels. There could be, but I don't think I've heard it.

Didn’t have any problems yet with algae blooms. I have a diamond watchman goby and a kole tang that keep everything clean tho. I think people are too affraid of nutrients...
