So I’ve been testing my parameters recently after adding some coral. I added a large monti yday and thought it would affect my parameters in one day. Is that too short of a time?
I don’t dose anything currently so trying to figure out how much my tank is using in 1 day so I can start.
Between 9pm yday and 9pm today there has been no change in anything.
How should I go about it now?
I’ve attached pictures of an ICP test I did 28/11/20 I haven’t done a water change since.

Too short. Test every 3 days and after 3 weeks go to weekly, then biweekly
They and other corals wont cause any impact on parameters in 24, or even 72 hours.
Take time to enjoy the tank rather than test and worry. I let my fish and corals talk to me. . . . in other words - Unless something is off , just feed and enjoy

Only issue is I had a major tank crash last time I added a colony l. Added a large stylo and a few other coral. 1 week later every single coral in my tank closed up few days later lost every sps and a few torch heads. Couldn’t figure out for the life of me what was the issue tested the parameters everything was ok except phosphate was 2. Added a poly filter and instantly coral looked better one week after that all coral opened up again sps starting to get colour back but lost a lot of them. Did an ICP test only problem I could see was the phosphate not sure how that happened. Have bought a seachem product and placed a cup of it in a mesh bag in the sump hoping it’ll reduce it. So abit worried about the nee coral causing any issues.
images attached are in the space of 4 days
