Hi all,
I’m restarting off a nano reef 35L tank, I took out my old rock as I had too much for the tank size and I’ve added new dry reef rock I used 20% of my old water in filled 80% new water and acclimated my fish into the the tank. I have two clowns at present and I plan to put in lps and really want a monti coral. I’ve created a spreadsheet (please see below) the green bar indicates my Red Sea numbers they gave me to aim for (are these realistic). They also created a recipe to dose my tank (do I start this whilst my tank is cycling?) I don’t plan on adding coral until late July but may upgrade my light before then I’m currently running a nicrew led but may move to AI (thoughts?)

my numbers are obviously way off right now but any tips on how to get there will be highly appreciated (patience is key!)

You do not need to dose calcium, alkalinity, or magnesium or any trace elements. Water changes will replace all that for probably the first year depending on coral bio load. I'd wait till I had coralline growth before adding corals. You could probably get away with some soft corals if you wanted but these won't use calcium or alkalinity. If they do its a negligable amount

With that small kf a tank if you do add soft corals watch your Iodion levels and as far as dosing anything is concerned you don't need to dose anything until the coral is using more then your able to add via a normal water change which will be awhile

(Also monties are sensitive to not enoff or to much iodion just like softys)

When you bring your salinity up the alk, calcium and magnesium will also come up. When you do bring it up go slow.
