ParanoidObseshun's 27 gallon cube

Thanks guys. Finally sat down infront of the tank and made a decision on where some corals are going to stay. Glued some zoa frags I had bouncing around the sandbed. Going to move some of the lps thats tucked on the left side over onto the right side and might move the one blasto colony thats under the sour apple birdsnest out into the front center and then put a frogspawn thats been hiding in the back into its old spot.

Post up an fts shot when its all done.

Been a month since any updates or pictures.

Current top down shot.

Sour Apple is growing real close to the glass now, barely have any room for the magnet cleaner to get past.

Shots of some new zoanthids/Palys. Starting to get back into them and getting some nice ones.

Wow, nice new additions. What are you doing about the algae? Have you tried a bunch of different snails or using a bit more GFO?

Thanks. I have siphoned out some stuff that I could scrape off. I also picked up some brs gfo and a reactor as I think the small amounts I had sitting in a media bag just clumped up and didnt do much.

Looking great!

Thanks!

I agree with the small amounts sitting in a media bag, clumping and not being very effective. Just take it easy with the GFO usage at first, and go 1/3 of what BRS recommend. :)

Thanks guys!

Just hooked up the phosban reactor with the brs gfo. Used only about 3.5 tbsp, they suggest 1 tbsp per 4 gal. Hoping this helps with the algae problems.

Reactors still up and running, gfo in the bottom and then I added another sponge and put some carbon up near the top.

Here are some updated pictures.
