Parasite id/diagnosis?

I would just set up the tub and put her there after the fw dip . Do not forget if it’s your first time freshwater dipping a fish u must match the ph and temp to ur display tanks ph and temp or your fish may die, I’ve messed up two freshwater baths so far and killed two fish. Maybe others can answer a little bit more than I can but basically you need to do whatever you can to get that medicine freshwater dips will only get you so far. and you need to treat all ur tank inhabitants for this disease also, it’s not clownfish specific/host specific
I will need to take apart the rocks to catch the goby but It must be done

Malachite green also may work but im not keen on its effectiveness
I think its the only thing i can get in my area. I'm in canada and the federal government decided to ban a lot of aquarium products inculding treatment so its worth a shot

@vetteguy53081 isnt the one thing rally pro actually good for is brook/bacterial infections? couldnt he use that if he can actually get it where he is?

I have had the clownfish for 2 years. I have a watchman goby with it and that is about it. It has had this issue noticably for 3 days. I'll try to take a video when the lights turn on

If you haven't added any animals to the tank in awhile, I really question the Brooklynella diagnosis. I've never seen a long term captive clown develop that unless it came into the tank as a hitchhiker on something else from an infected tank. Brooklynella has a direct life cycle, it doesn't "hide" in a tank like marine ich can.

A video might help determine if this is indeed Brook or not......

Rally DOES work, just takes a little longer.

Oh! that changes everything! The video pretty clearly shows Brooklynella, and damsels are pretty resistant to it, my guess is that the springeri brought in into your tank.

You'll want to get started with a treatment right away.
