Hey all, I know what this is but totally forgot the name. I believe it’s something like black anchor worm? They’re the little black dots/bumps on fish. Come off with freshwater dip, and does copper help with that? My clown got them all of a sudden so I’m just gonna put it back in qt. Hasn’t spread to anything else

From Meredith's great pictorial on fish disease:

Black Ich (turbellarians)

Like black sprinkles over the body, this is another type of worm that attaches and feeds off of the fish. The same treatments for Flukes will work here as well. Prazipro, freshwater dips and formalin for the stubborn strains.

I’ve done the freshwater, can you use copper? It’s a clownfish so it is pretty capable of surviving copper qt

It's a worm so we treat with a praziquantel product like Prazipro or General Cure. Remember to use a powerhead with it angled up to break the water surface for oxygenation, especially if using Prazipro.

Agreed
