About a week ago all of the fish in my 20g reef tank got taken out by what I believe to have been brooklynella before I could treat it. Any idea what this is? I was rinsing out my macro algae and a bunch of these fell out into the sink. I immediately threw away the algae in case they are no good. On my last thread they said to have no fish in the tank for at least 70 days to insure brooklynella was dead and any other parasites died. Could the brooklynella go to one of my hermit crabs or snails? That’s probably a stupid question but since they are living I thought there might be a away for them to feed off of them.

Hi! Just an amphipod. Good creature to clean up detritus in your tank and feed fish like wrasses and dragonets.
sign of a healthy tank.
