Try giving him a freshwater dip. Put him in freshwater for 1 minute and tomorrow put him in for 2 min and do that until a fourth day at a maximum of 4 min

Do they look like this? Dactylogyrus trematodes, a fancy word for a type of flatworm. Can treat is with Prazipro, General Cure, and if really nasty case, with formalin.

unfortunately, general cure isn't available anymore in Canada, actually pretty much none of the actual medications are available anymore.

Nasty little things, aren't they

I'd treat the tank with Prazipro. It's reef safe kinda. Might lose some bristleworms, etc.

Darn. Well you could certainly try using hypo: Hyposalinity – Scientific research also showed hyposalinity at 15 ppt for 2 days eliminated juvenile and adult flukes. When maintained for 5 days, egg hatching was prevented.

you know what, screw it, I'm gunna set up a 10G hospital/qt in the near future.

I think I'll just fw dip the 2 clowns for now and then do hypo soon while I let the dt fallow.

my original plan was to qt/hypo when I upgrade to a bigger tank in the future, but I think I may need to advance those plans

Fallow period for flatworms is 4 weeks.

I may as well go for the whole shebang. 76 days right?
76 covers Ich, velvet, Brook, flatworms, everything except uronema which can survive without a fish host as it is partially photosynthetic.
