Parasite on snail shell?

Vermetid snail. Considered a pest, but they're not a huge problem for the most part.

Agreed. It’ll pop of with a fingernail generally.
I have not noticed them anywhere else in the tank except for on the shells of these two snails. I hope not. My poor Diamond Goby disappeared and I plan on getting another one soon. Should I wait? There was a space where the filter goes and I think he got out that way but we can't find him anywhere. We have gotten a new top.
