Parasite or big poo?

While feeding the tank I noticed my melarnarus had a long white ribbon looking thing coming from him. Took a video thinking it might be a tape worm. As soon as I stopped the video it came off him and I took it out of the tank. Once out of the blue light it no longer looks white, it’s a pale greenish brown color. So is it a parasite or just a big poo? Video and picture below.

Stringy and "white" = bad; stringy and brown/green = not to worry, just keep an eye on it. It's probably just something it ate. Like maybe a bristle worm, etc.
