just want confirmation it’s parasites

Had him for 5 days in QT, still very shy and hiding. He hasn’t eaten much at all. I don’t think he’s adjusted to the time difference yet either.

He’s been keeping his belly firmly to the floor, swimming along the floor.

I have meds for parasite- should I try to get him eating before medicating?

Have you tried tempting him with live food, either brine shrimp or blackworms?

That seductive wiggle is often enough to open the door.

I can get some live worms tomorrow, good idea!

I am not sure if he’s still in his own time zone or still scared- he barely moves. There are times when he’d pace the tank but keep his belly to the ground.

He has mucus on him now so at least I know he’s able to build his cocoon
