Hi new here I just changed my filter media and this guy fell out not sure what it is or what to do for it????

I can't tell what the thing is from the pic, but I'm pretty confident it's not a parasite - most parasites we get are either microscopic or specific kinds of isopods with a distinctive look.

I would honestly assume the thing is harmless.
