Parasite?

Is this stringy poop a parasite issue? The Coral Beauty is about 2” long and the poop is 4~5” long and the fish has been dragging it around for 10 min now. Currently in my QT with Paraguard since I just got it.

Not abnormal. Go after it with net and see how fast it loses it . . . LOL
If it were white and stringy- would be an internal issue and fish would not be eating as normal.

Thanks, it's eating fine and the poop is brown so that's a relief! Praise God!

I have a very young bi-color angel in QT who had the same issue. The poop was never white, but long and the color of the green/red seaweed and NLS pellets. He eventually grew out of it I guess...all is normal now. Congrats on your CB!!

Thanks, I think it's a beautiful fish, the mouth is pretty funny, puffs up when it eats.
