Hi. I’m so glad to have been referred to this forum. That being said. I posted a terrible pic and asked for advice on here earlier( hard to do with rotten pic) but got some great info. All about worms and parasites. That being said what do I need to worry about as far as parasites in my reef tank when introducing coral frags. Only ever had a salt water fish tank. Now have this tank for corals. I have cycled my 55 gal for months. I have a super nice Eflux power head, aqua cc lighting set for lps growing, a coralvue skimmer, a complete ro water system. Good hitchhikers are fine by me but I do t know what good or bad. Thanks.

It's a good practice to dip your corals in a coral dip, such as revive, coral rx, brightwells coral dip....etc before placing into your DT. Though not a "100%" guarantee to remove all, it's the best defence available.

Isolating corals from your DT in a observation tank after dipping helps and allows you to treat them for pests. Not everyone can do this.

Red bugs, flatworms....etc, can be tough to remove once in a established system.

Here's a good guide: https://www.lionfishlair.com/hitchhikers-guide/
