Sorry for the crazy initial post. I was having major problems getting the forum to accept the post at all and I'm afraid to edit it. Short story is that I had to yank my tang, angel and wrasse from my tank because they showed some sort of external parasite. They were white and attached to the fish's bodies and fins. The ones on the fins appeared to trail off into the water like a ribbon would being twirled around by the wind (or water, in this case). Since removing the fish and treating them in the hospital tank with SeaChem MetroPlex, Cupramine, and ParaGard, I noticed the above pods in the tank. Are these red herrings or could they be what I thought were flukes? I know these aren't flukes but rather some type of pod but could these be parasitic? I'm at a loss here. Any help or advice would be appreciated. You're great!
