Part 2 forming stalactite?

Part 2 of my Fusion doses underwater and basically creates an angled stalactite almost every week. What am I doing wrong?

I use the Bubble Magus doser which doses 3x a day a few hrs after Part 1

You should dose above the waterline (the liquid should drop into the sump), in a high flow area of your sump.

Where are you dosing?

I had the same issue when I dripped above the water, it just caked on the side of the sump wall.

I'm dosing about 5" from my Vectra M1 intake. It's basically making a 3" icicle toward my pump.

What are you dosing exactly? Is it your alk or your Ca? What brand of 2 part are you using?

Sorry for all the questions, but the more information you can provide the more likely someone on here can anser your question. (i'm interested know now too)

Have you /can you move it to were the solution is being added near your overflow output in the sump? That's where I had my kalk going, there may be more water movement there to keep it from precipitating..

Yes I'll try that. can it be under water? last time I had it above water and it just made an icicle to the water =/

It's better to be above, may look into one of those fancy doser holders.. Let me see if I bookmarked them. I'll add a link

No problem, the one I'm think of sits just touching the waterline and has a chamber the dosing tube connects to.. Supposed to help with precipitation

wow cool! I have apex probe holders but i might just sell one for this, that's pretty cool!
