Part A & B?

I am using Part A and Part B in one set of my coral tanks and Fuel in another. The growth and health of the corals seems to be about the same. What say you? Do you favor one over the other?

I use natureef 2 part. I began using fuel and think it resulted in a diatom bloom of some sort so I just stick with the 2 part chemicals!

Seems many had that problem and most of us scaled back the dosage to 50% of what they say to use and that works out very well.

Really? I made a thread on here about the best way to dose and nobody told me that. I was told to make smaller dosages and do them throughout the week but never the 50% May have to try that!

Yup, I only do about 50% once or twice a week. It seems to work much better that way.

I dose my tank daily with B-Ionic 2 part as well as white vinegar and the growth and color of my corals is fantastic compared to when I was using the bright well line of products, plus it's cheaper to buy 1 pkg of 2 part instead of a million different chemicals from brightwell

I worked up from .8 Ml per 25 gallons to a total daily dose of 6 Ml daily
If you do a search online you can find the dosage chart as well as numerous great threads discussing vinegar dosing
It's just another form of carbon dosing just like vodka, however vinegar dosing doesn't seems to have the negative aspect of a red slime algae bloom like vodka dosing seems to have
Within 1 1/2 - 2 months of starting the dosing I noticed a HUGE boost in the color as well as the growth of all my corals
Within 6 months My polyp colonies all tripled in size, my frogspawn went from 1 small head to 3 med size heads my acan colony blew up to over 80 heads and my Duncan coral went from 3 heads to 16

you definitely should!!!
It's honestly one of THE BEST decisions I've made regarding dosing for my tank, I used to be one of those reefers that thought you needed a dozen different products that a company makes but dosing the B-Ionic 2 part and vinegar daily has given me the best growth and color I've ever had in 15 years of reefing

I have dosed vodka with good results,just to much will cause algae blooms.I might try vinegar doseing.

I'm using Seachem Reef Fusion 1 & 2. They seem to work great keeps Alk,Ph, and cal all in check.

Well, I started the vinegar dosing yesturday. I am only dosing a 5 gallon pico, so I am just starting with about three drops. Every three days. We will see what happens.

COOL!!I'm glad to see you are giving it a shot, make sure you look up the dosage chart online so that you don't add to much/littleAlso make sure the chart says for vinegar dosing and not vodka as there's a huge difference in the dosage amounts

Make sure you keep us updated with how well your tank reacts to the 2 part and the vinegar dosing
You should post pics in this thread or make a new thread so u can show progression shots of the tank from now and then like 1,2,3,6 months and so on

Still dosing and so far so good. lol....but this is only week 2.
