Now I just got to figure out how to get the broken one out there

Cheap set of flute extractors works great. You use them for stuck nuts typically.

SHeered off? I've used a flat headed screw driver with an angled end that will slip inside but catches on the edges as it inserts, push in and turn at the same time. Don't have to force it, if it grabs it should back the threaded stump out fairly easily. (Hope that description mades sense?) - Otherwords, jam in the narrow end inside the sheered piece and when the larger edge of the tool catches, push down and turn at the same time. GL

Doesn’t one of those supposta have a check valve in it ? I know mine does. I’m not sure what it’s for tho
