Can I assume that these little floaters are part of the algae that just loves my tank so much lately?

Definitely not! I’ve only seen them once so I could be wrong, but to me, they look like hydroid jellyfish which are considered pests by most people!

Oh wow, I have no idea where they would’ve come from. I haven’t introduced anything new to the tank for a good while.
