Theres a lot of particles in my water flowing freely and they don’t seem to be getting cleaned up at all. the particles seem to be copepod skeletons and maybe some dust. My filter isn’t too packed but i have filter floss, and foam etc. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i could improve my filtration? I have a Fluval Flex 9g

I'd try to figure up the source and start from there. Then, maybe try filter pads instead of floss if possible and potentially something like dr tims clear up

What fish and inverts do you have? Could the particles be caused by one of those?

I used to have a particle free tank with super clear water but those days are over. I have a few fish that nip at the rocks all day and they release quite a few particles.

If it is indeed a fish, the filtration won't help when things are being made waterborne by animals.
