I have a small patch of cyano I’m looking at in my 220 gal. It’s about 3 sq inches. Should I treat whole tank with chemiclean or just suck out that patch and monitor tank ? I’d do a good water change as well

Personally, when I got a small patch of cyano, I just suck it out. It worked for me even when I had entire rocks coated in that foul stuff. Turkey baster if you can reach, or a standard gravel vac.

Appreciate the feedback. Thanks

I was thinking about just doing a water change and sucking it out.
Then see if it comes back

thanks
