Genius!!!

I built this mandarin feeder inspired from the one that @Paul B built. Sir your video on your mandarin eating white worms has birthed Great Success...as my juvenile mandarin also doesn’t rely on pods but instead frozen cyclops and baby brine. Now I don’t have to mass feed the tank and shut off the flow to get my mandarin to eat, thanks to the memebers of R2R!
It took about a week for the mandarin to venture into the feeder.
Poor picture quality yes! But you get the idea #nopodsnoproblem

Awesome! Do you follow Pauls setup exactly or have you done anything different??
I did my best to replicate with what I had on hand. The tubing is all vinyl and the flow dividers are 1/8 glass

Where do I find these scriptures you speak of?
I know he mentioned having some larvae of the type in his tank thread. Therefore, he must have a means to rear the little monsters properly!

My mandarin now eats good, but when I tried things like this, the hermit crabs could sense it before I even put the food near the tank and started walking (running really) towards the bottle or tube and always got there first.....never could find a way to stop that.

I love it, what a great Idea, this Paul person must be very good looking and have a lot of hair, although I never heard of him.

@Paul B
If anyone sees the handsome young genius I hope that they will warn him that he might be in danger of being arrested for torturing hungry Copperband Butterflies with his Mandarine feeding tube. Cool, but cruel and inhumane at the same time. :)

Hahaha yup he was a smooth talker too. Couldn’t take that guy anywhere in a two seater car. Unless I wanted to walk home while he got the girl.

@rmorris_14 heres the proof you seek buddy! This was my first month or two with this Mandy. I ended up getting a second one and they lived for two years until i got stupid and tried to move them.

Just a little baby in there. Almost forgot how small he was

I put mine half way up in the tank a inch or two off the rock. The mandy would cruise around going in and out throughout the day. I did have to add a small piece to the opening to keep out other fish and keep the food still.

Thanks for that!!! I honestly couldn’t even imagine what it looked like from the picture you posted of the feeder on the other thread.

Seeing the photo in action and then watching Paul’s video helped tremendously. :grinning-squinting-face:

This looks like it’s extremely efficient.
This Paul B guy seems extremely inspirational… wonder where my thought of a glass bottle in my nano came from ;)

Haha for sure dude it’s a solid hack to get these slow eaters what they need. They eat all day so I refilled this thing more than a few times a day.
Paul B knows his stuff! I’m just spreading the know how, that he laid out for us. Cheers
