Great tank and progression! How are you liking the 2 RW-8's? I have a 40breeder as well and was thinking they might provide too much flow compared to a few rw-4's?! What mode and how high do you have them turned up?

I'm running 2 RW4's on my 40B. Doing an awesome job for sure. Actually traded them out for my Gyre XF-130. Couldn't be happier.

I came very close to getting the gyre xf-130 for my tank, but got talked into the RW-8s from my buddy who has had both. Cheaper and possibly better. I'm pretty happy with them. Really strong and really quiet.

So I ended up getting rid of my melanurus wrasse for increasing aggression towards the other fish. Especially the little pintail fairy wrasse. He will be missed, but the tank is a lot calmer with him gone. Here is a video update-

Trying another one of these guys. Traded in some old powerhead for it yesterday. Eating frozen cyclops on day 2!

The new leopard wrasse was up at the same time today as yesterday, right before 4:00 pm. Wasn't interested in LRS or new life spectrum pellets, but she went to town on the frozen cyclops. I have hopes for this one.

Caught and removed the orchid dottyback for constant picking on the pintail wrasse. Had that guy a year and a half. Pretty fish, but he had to go. I never thought this fish would be removed from this tank until everything came out. No fish traps or anything has ever come close to tricking this dude. He decided to sleep in the new pvc tunnel I made for the jawfish (which I haven't seen in a while). Just plugged the pipe and out he came.

Fragged off all the green monti cap today. Decided it was taking too much precious real estate in the tank. My red and purple monti caps are still doing good, no where near as fast of a grower as the green. I rearranged a few things in the tank. I also picked up a red planet acro frag and forest fire digitata frag. High hope for both of these guys, they are tiny now though.
