My pavona coral came with another coral and they were my first corals ever. After about a month both the corals appeared to be dying then 2 hermit crabs were all over it all day from when I went up to go to work and came home. I removed then in the morning but they still went back. When I came home they were on it. Both corals appeared to be dead. In 1 day they lost all color and everything. The pavona went completely brown. We're now going on 2 months since completely browning out. I figured hey maybe they'll come back to life and they're my first corals ever, they're going to stay in my tank. So, I put them in low light/low flow to see what happens. Well I was looking tonight and 2 of the 4 sides(its a 3/4in. completely square frag) are getting little streaks of neon green color visible under blue only lights. One side has a whole streak from one edge to the other. Is it coming back? If so I'm very happy. :)

Did yours come back? Mine is doing exactly the same thing. Went brown everywhere except for the edges, and looks like a little bit of green is coming back under blue light. Sexy shrimp were bothering it a lot, before I took them out. I was thinking of removing it, but maybe I'll put it in a corner of the tank and wait it out.
