Does any have pax bellum algae reactor in their sump? how do you like it and does it export nutrients as intended? anything you don't like about it? I know it's expensive but i gotta say it's one sexy algae reactor

I have the 24" model but it's outside of the sump. Thing grows chaeto like crazy and I see a huge amount of pods in it. Super bright when its on, can't imagine using it without the wrap to keep light spill at a minimum. Has a good size heat sink on the LED tube for good reason. Definitely a solid piece of equipment. I said it wrong, i meant to say in the sump area, not specifically in the sump. Do you have a pic of the reactor by chance I can see?

I looked into it for a while when I planned my tank build but I've found just having a fuge with a good grow light is just as effective (maybe more). I just pulled out enough chaeto to stuff a 5 gallon bucket after 3 weeks of growth. I don't know how often I'd need to open up the reactor and trim it. Right now I just pull it up and cut away a clump with some scissors.

A bit silly to ask if the ARID reactor works.. I have one on my ELOS Midi system and I have to dose the included nitrate supplements to keep my nitrates detectable.

4ml of Nitrate = 1.0ppm for my volume of seawater
