Pax Bellum ARID N18 Macroalgae Reactor

I bought a Pax Bellum Arid N18 MAC Reactor.
My question is, does anyone run this 24/7 or just the same as the daylight schedule or night schedule?

It is my understanding that Chaeto needs an 8 hour rest period. I have mine set for 12 hours on coinciding with the night cycle on my tank. I have seen good results with my pH rising overnight. It does a good job countering the natural pH drop that occurs when the daylight cycle is over. Hope that helps!
